What this checker shows
This tool reads your page's title tag, meta description, canonical URL, robots directives, and hreflang links, then renders a preview of how the page is likely to appear in Google's desktop results — including where the title and description get truncated.
Lengths are reported in both characters and an approximate pixel width, because Google truncates snippets by rendered width, not character count. Every value is read directly from your page's HTML; nothing is estimated beyond the pixel-width preview, which uses a standard glyph-width approximation.
A well-formed title and meta description won't change your rankings on their own, but they strongly affect click-through from the results page. Use this to catch missing, duplicated, or truncated snippets before they cost you clicks.
