    Autopilot Mode

Autopilot is SEOGEO Tools' automated optimization engine that continuously monitors your site and takes action to improve your SEO and GEO performance.

    What It Is

Autopilot runs on a configurable schedule to:

    1. Perform site audits automatically
    2. Analyze results and identify issues
    3. Generate action plans with prioritized fixes
    4. Create fix prompts for your development team
    5. Draft content improvements
    6. Track implementation and verify fixes
    7. How It Works

      Scheduled Runs

Autopilot runs according to your configured schedule (daily, weekly, or custom). Each run:

      1. Crawls your site to detect changes and issues
      2. Compares with previous runs to identify new problems
      3. Prioritizes actions by impact and effort
      4. Generates outputs based on your approval mode
      5. Approval Modes

        ModeBehavior
ManualActions are queued for your review before execution
AutoLow-risk actions execute automatically; high-risk actions need approval

        Action Types

        Autopilot can generate:

        • Fix Prompts: AI-generated instructions for developers
        • Content Drafts: Updated or new content for pages
        • Technical Fixes: Recommendations for meta tags, schema, etc.
        • GEO Optimizations: Improvements for AI search visibility

        Setting Up Autopilot

        1. Navigate to Settings > Autopilot in your project
        2. Toggle Enable Autopilot to on
        3. Configure your schedule (recommended: weekly)
        4. Choose your approval mode
        5. Select which action types to enable
        6. Click Save Configuration
        7. Dry Run Mode

          Test Autopilot without making changes:

          1. Enable Dry Run in settings
          2. Run Autopilot manually
          3. Review what would have happened
          4. Disable dry run when satisfied
          5. Managing Runs

            Viewing Run History

Go to Autopilot > History to see:

            • All previous runs with timestamps
            • Actions generated per run
            • Success/failure status
            • Detailed logs

            Reviewing Pending Actions

            In Manual approval mode:

            1. Go to Autopilot > Pending
            2. Review each action's details
            3. Click Approve or Reject
            4. Approved actions execute on next run
            5. Manual Trigger

              Run Autopilot immediately:

              1. Go to Command Center
              2. Click Run Now in the Autopilot widget
              3. Or use the API: POST /api/autopilot/run
              4. Best Practices

                1. Start with Manual mode: Review actions until you trust the system
                2. Use Dry Run first: Test on a new project before enabling auto-approval
                3. Review weekly: Check pending actions and run history regularly
                4. Monitor results: Track KPIs to measure Autopilot's impact
                5. FAQ

Q: Will Autopilot make changes to my live website?

A: No. Autopilot generates recommendations and drafts within SEOGEO Tools. You control what gets implemented.

Q: Can I pause Autopilot temporarily?

A: Yes. Toggle it off in Settings or set the next run to a future date.

Q: What if Autopilot generates a bad recommendation?

A: In Manual mode, simply reject it. In Auto mode, use the undo feature or adjust your configuration.
